APS STORIES

BIG
BRAIN

Set your content free and re-energise your storytelling

The facts are the facts, there’s no getting away from that. But there are endlessly innovative ways you can share them and breathe new life into the important stories they tell.

THE
CHALLENGE

Our client had no new data to present at their annual symposium.
Rather than PowerPointing the previous year’s information we suggested they re-share it in a fresh and more engaging context. A context that would engage the audience, inspire the presenter and offer new ways of exploring old data.

THE
SOLUTION

We built a brain.

A giant, sculpted model of a human brain, onto which we projection mapped and layered video content and data – replacing the traditional screen and projector format with something new and unexpected.

Not only that, but because we’d carefully choreographed and rehearsed every element of the installation ahead of the symposium, everything was in place and up-and-running within the 15 min set-up window assigned by congress.

THE
OUTCOME

An inspired presenter, an engaged audience, seamless production and a happy client, as what could easily have been a dry rehash of tired data was instead memorably brought to life.

Important research data shared in a way that held attention, provoked fresh debate, and will live long in the memory.
